The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room is nice- lots of amenities. It is also close to a lot of attractions, including museums and tasty places to eat (try the Olympic Pizza right down the road for delicious Greek fare). The only reason this isn't a five star review is the hardness of the mattresses, which some might like but which hurts my back.
Exceeded my wildest expectations. Though the decor is absolutely outdated, the rooms are immaculately clean. The complimentary snacks and bottle d water were appreciated as well. If you happen to be in need of a place to stay while in Williamstown, do yourself a favor and book a room here.

I liked the place. Nice welcome, very clean, quiet. The only thing is that the breakfast was a little sparse, but I'd go back still!
The Maple Terrace was a great place for us to spend a few nights in the Berkshires. The desk clerk was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, and kindly provided us with local maps as well as affordable dining recommendations nearby. Its central location was ideal for quick drives to events in town and it was conveniently close to the Clark, Williams college, and the Moca. The room had some thoughtful amenities - bottled spring water, tea bags and my favorite, pecan pinwheels. Wi-Fi came with the room, as did a miniature fridge. When it came time to sleep, the two queen beds, though very clean, proved too firm for our comfort and therefore did not provide a solid night's rest.
