The menu is not exactly inspiring, but I have never ordered anything from it that was not good. The potato crusted scallops, beef kebab, lamb chops and the tuna carpaccio are all really good, simply prepared and not once have I felt the food was oversalted.
We have been going to Hobson's Choice for almost twenty years and for all that time the quality of our meals has been consistently good, far better than average. This is not the place to go if you are looking for trendy cuisine or a hip atmosphere, but if you are looking for a good solid meal of quality ingredients, well prepared in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere where you can have a conversation, this is the place.

The food is always fresh and never frozen - local vegetables and delicious meat and seafood. Great service by a welcoming, personable staff and a charming owner cooking and overseeing all of the wonderful food that is served. We choose Hobson's Choice time after time as our "go to" and a place we can consistently count on for a nice dinner.
very expensive for the experience..i thought the food was ok my family has a different opinion...the place could be really great if they cared a little more ....
